Happy Read Across America Week, Trailblazer family!
This year, we're celebrating our nation of diverse readers with daily challenges and school-wide read alouds. Check out the classroom challenges below to support your student's lifelong love of reading! Feel free to get the whole family involved and celebrate from home as well!
Monday: Read like a BOSS! Students will read for 15 minutes like a big time CEO--sit back, relax, and put those feet up on the desk.
Tuesday: Read like the STAR you are! Students can wear their sunglasses while they read for 15 minutes. (Parents, please send sunglasses to school on Tuesday!)
Wednesday: Read like a CAVEMAN! Have your students read under their desks for 15 minutes.
Thursday: Read like a VETERINARIAN! Let students bring stuffed animals to read with (or to) during class. (Parents, please let your child bring one small stuffed animal Thursday!)
Friday: Read like a TEACHER! Since there is no school on Friday, students can enjoy their day off by reading a book to their family or a pretend class.
