Upcoming MAP Testing

Upcoming MAP Testing

Carrollton Farmers-Branch students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade will participate in the MAP Growth test(s). This nationally normed test is used as one measure of your student’s academic growth this school year. The assessment is administered three times a year: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

The MAP test is a unique test that adapts to your students’ level of learning. If a student answers a question correctly, the next question presented will be more challenging. If they answer incorrectly, the next question will be less difficult. This test's adaptability provides detailed information on what the student currently knows and is ready to learn.

These tests provide immediate and accurate information about your student’s level of learning. This makes it a great resource for teachers, parents, and students to identify what skills a student is ready to learn, keeping everyone informed and involved in the learning process.

MAP tests will be administered to students three times throughout the school year:

  • Fall Administration:
    • Elementary, Middle, and High Schools are in September.
  • Winter Administration:
    • Elementary, Middle, and High are in January.
  • Spring Administration:
    • Elementary, Middle, and High Schools are in May

Following each testing window, you may access your students’ results by logging in to your Parent Self Serve account (Parent Self Serve Link) and selecting the Testing tab.

We are truly excited to focus on your students’ individual growth and achievement. For more information about the MAP Growth tests, please visit https://www.nwea.org/the-map-suite/family-toolkit/.
